Three gîtes, one big table and a heated pool, all to yourselves
The idea
A house for each family, everyone at the same table
A good family reunion means being all together during the day and having your own space at night. Le petit Vialto was designed for exactly that: three independent gîtes on one enclosed 4,600 m² plot in Grospierres, southern Ardèche.
The estate is rented as a whole, for up to 16 guests (children included, plus 2 cots). Eight bedrooms and six bathrooms: each branch of the family has its own gîte, bedrooms, kitchen and terrace.
For meals, two options: the big room in Gîte Horizon, with its two long tables for 16, or the shaded terrace of Gîte Agora, with tables and chairs for everyone, next to the barbecue.
Who sleeps where
How to share out the three gîtes
- Gîte Horizon (sleeps 8, 4 bedrooms): the largest family, or the grandparents with the grandchildren. Master suite with a 180 cm bed, two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom.
- Gîte Agora (sleeps 4, 2 bedrooms): a couple with two children, or two adult cousins. One double bedroom, one twin.
- Gîte Nature (sleeps 4, 2 suites): two couples, each with their own bathroom. The most secluded gîte, a favourite with grandparents.
- Beds can be made up before you arrive (optional, €6 per person): handy when 16 of you arrive on a Saturday evening.
Daytime
Something for three generations
- The heated pool (10 × 5 m, May to late September), fenced with a safety gate for parents' peace of mind.
- Pétanque court, table tennis, badminton, swings and a play area for the children: all in the grounds, no car needed.
- 5 minutes away, the Chassezac river beach; 15 minutes, Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and canoeing; 20 minutes, the Chauvet 2 cave. See things to do near the gîte.
- In the evening, the big room is the place for board games, family photos and conversations that run late.

What families usually ask us
- The price covers the whole estate, all 3 gîtes and 16 guests, bed linen included: €2,300 to €4,000 per week, €1,200 to €1,900 per weekend depending on the season. See the 2026 – 2027 rates.
- Just a weekend? Outside July and August, the estate is rented from Friday to Sunday, with an extra night possible for long weekends.
- Babies and toddlers: 2 cots available on top of the 16 beds, a secured pool, play area in the grounds.
- Grandparents: Gîte Nature, set apart with its two suites, is often kept for them.
- Pets are not allowed; no smoking indoors or around the pool.
- We live on site and are there to welcome and advise you. We reply within 24 hours and speak English.
